As winter decided January 20th was the perfect day to absolutely freeze Louisiana, love warmed the hearts of all who attended Sarah and Colton’s wedding at The Sherman Place Event Venue.
Despite the freezing wind + temperatures, the couple embraced every challenge with grace and radiated joy throughout their special day.
From the heartfelt ceremony to the lively reception, every moment was infused with love and laughter.
What made this day truly remarkable was the couple’s attitude. They weren’t about to let a little cold weather dampen their spirits. Nope, they embraced it all—the frosty air, our poor groom getting sick, the happy tears, the big laughs, even a contact lens emergency, all the good and all the challenging—with open arms and big smiles.
It was so beautiful to witness them just being happy to be with one another. No matter what happened or didn’t go as planned, they were just so happy to be married. That is something I wish for ALL of my couples to have on their wedding day. That knowledge of “no matter what happens, I get to marry my person and that’s what matters MOST to me”
At the end of the day, 9 times out of 10, the little mess ups or changes to plans end up being the most memorable/funny/perfectly imperfect moments of the day.
As they said their vows surrounded by friends + family, it was clear to everyone there that these two were meant to be. Their love lit up the room. The genuine joy throughout this day made me so happy to be there.
But it wasn’t just about the love between Sarah and Colton, which in itself is such a beautiful + admirable relationship. It was about the love they shared with everyone there, their guests who braved the cold to celebrate with them. Together, they created a truly beautiful day, one filled with laughter, tears, and plenty of dancing.
So here’s to Mr. & Mrs. Chaddrick, a couple who prove that love is patient, kind, and can warm even the coldest day. May their love continue to grow and may their journey together be filled with nothing but warmth and joy. I can’t wait to see what life brings their way.
